 We learned with Lesson 41"Getting a Promotion". The new bocabrary was "take effect" which means begin, begin to work. I was surprized that liquor and alcohol are different and beer and wine are not included in liquor. Other important expressions I learned was assume the position, the difference between regional and area managers, entailing responsibilities, etc. Thank you Max. I'm looking forward to seeing you on the next lesson!

 I want to say thank you for John sensei. Today we worked on the schwa Sound which I have never been awre of.I find that a lot of words which I couldn't memorise have schwa sounds in it!! Before the next lesson I'll practice in pronunciation.

 This week, I had stayed the hotel which has located near to the Times Square. So I went through Times Square in the morning and night. There was always crowded. Mostly they were just hanging around or just sitting on the stairs in the center. I could see many billboards, street performances, and food stands from top of stairs. I had been had been exciting and had been there half an hour. It was like a carnival. The Times Square was very fun place.

 My daughter is 4 and she does not focus on one thing. She does not listen to other's question and keeps talking. I think it is very hard to attract her to one thing. Mei-sensei changes her topic based on my daughter's interest. Mei-sen sei is very patient. My daughter enjoys her lesson.
