 Thank you for giving me the nice lesson! I told her about the earthquake we had on Saturday night and she told me about Canada Day(July 1st). Today's topic was fears and I learned some idioms including "freaked out","to jump out of your skin","get the butterflies in formation", and "bundle of nerves". The practice of using these idioms is truely worthwhile and I appreciate her typed corrections.

 I got a nice lesson tonight as well.
My teacher gave me a interesting topic.
And he gave me enough time to speak about it.
I tried to express my idea as precise as I can.

 In today's lesson, we talked about Japan society. Main topic was "Where did the motivation to growth economy after the war come from?" I have to read huge number of academic articles to answer this.  Today, we talked about my experience in Times Square. She said she would sit there more than one hour if she went there. Once great novelist Somerset Maugham(1874-1965) said that he can write few novels if he looks on the street. Seems she knows how to enjoy the streets. I like it too.
