Today, I practiced summarizing the article regarding the restration project of a Christian church by Palestinians. As always, Max corrected my summarizing expressions to precise ones and gave me a lecture about the history of religion, especially Big three. They are so interesting and motivate me more pracising. I've been suffering since I lost a sock that I found on the road and it seems it will take more time to recover from it, but I have to tell other bad news that I couldn't make a chocolate cake that we spend whole lesson time to talk about. SHOCKING!!! But, though we talked for maybe 10min about this stressful news, it's really good that only three slang are left!! We did an excellent job tonight, don't you think so? A fat one is in the bag!!!

His lesson was great as usual. Today I tried to speak more clearly than usual because I thought that it'd be easier for Max to notice my errors and correct them. We had another great lesson. He always chooses an interesting topic for our discussion, which makes me think a lot about things I usually don't think...

Differences of accent points between verbs and nouns having same meanings such as contrIbute and contriBution is difficult for me. Max let me fully understand it. And as always, he gave me a lot of helpful corrections for my summarizing practice. Thank you, Max!

In this session I learned several useful expressions by studying with Lesson 12 of Desperate Housewives. Those expressions were usually informal and bit impolite but really effective and convenient to communicate with someone. Those included catch on, not have a clue, break up with, dump someone, keep me going, where to do it, small talk, and be vocal. I always appreciate your brief, but clear and kind explanation. I could realize that some of my pronunciation sounds strange for native speakers. I would like to keep in mind and try to improve it, as I have a vocabulary list now.
