Hi there!

I'm an Australian with a long history of teaching English in Japan.

For over two decades I've been living and teaching English to students of all ages, from very young learners (as young as one year old!) to elderly citizens in their 80s and 90s. I try my best to tailor my lessons to the student and be accomadating to any needs or requests that the student may ask of me.

I have many hobbies and interests, primarily I'm a hiker. I love the great outdoors and try to be in nature whenever I have the chance! This gives me opportunities to feed my other great loves of photography and Japanese history (Sengoku castle ruins and Jōmon archaelogical sites in particular). When I can't get out into the wilderness I fill my time gardening at home and cooking at home. If you have any recipes to share please let me know!

Mistakes are natural and are part of the learning process. I'm a great listener and I'm very patient, I'm here to guide you on your way.
