Hello! My name is Melissa and I am an English native residing in Tennessee, USA! I have lived in many different states across the country because I love to explore new places. My favorite place I have ever lived was near San Fransisco, California. There is so much diversity there so it felt like I could discover new cultures on every corner! I have been married for a little over a year to my husband Matt, we met about 3 and a half years ago in college.

 

I began teaching English as a second language because of my deep interest in travel. My husband and I have a huge desire to move to Japan one day and I dream of teaching English there! I adore teaching English because it brings me great joy to help people understand it through the lens of their hobbies and interests. Learning a new language is so much fun when you get to talk about what you love!

 

I am particularly good at teaching conversational English for the reason I previously stated. I love talking with people and getting to learn about their interests, so I find it so enjoyable to help people learn English that way! As for my strengths in a more detailed aspect, I am great at correcting pronunciation, adjusting sentence structure, and teaching new and unique words and phrases from American culture.

アメリカ・アイダホ州出身のメリッサ先生は経営管理学 で学位を持つ、優しくとってもフレンドリーな性格の先生です。先生はTEFL（外国人に英語を教える資格）を取得しており、オンラインで英語指導を始めて半年ほどになります。現在は高校生から大人の生徒さんに指導を行っています。また、日本文化が大好きな旦那様の影響で、メリッサ先生も日本に興味持ち始めたそうで、近い将来日本に移住することが二人の目標なんだとか☆彡そのため日本語の勉強も少しずつしているそうですよ◎普段はグラフィックデザインとメディアワークをメインにしておられるそうで、IT系にも強いようです。 それでは、メリッサ先生を宜しくお願いします♪ （2022/1/6　記載）
