In this lesson we read an article entitled 'Man paints own 'no parking' lines outside his house'. I read I aloud and Dilhara corrected my pronunciation for two words. Then we checked new words in the article. Followingly we made discussion about the article. He waited for me patiently when I had something I wanted to talk about. So I could challenge to talk a lot. |

We read an article about Professor Stephen Hawking. Dilhara corrected my mispronouciation of Stephen, intrigued, and legendary. He also corrected my misusage of proposition: being in a wheelchair, not on a wheelchair. We discussed about Professor Hawking's theory and life. We both agreed with his theory of relativity of time. I enjoyed today's lesson. Thank you Dilhara! |

In this lesson we used an article entitled 'We need to prepare for the Internet of Things' which Dilhara prepared for me. I read it aloud and he explained me some words definitions. Then he asked me some questions according to the article and we discussed about the topic. It was a little difficult to read but the topic is today's kind, so it was good practice to talk based on such a topic. |

In this lesson,I read an article entitled "Calls for everyone in England to speak English" with Dilhara. It was interesting article talking about issues on common language. There were several words which were new for me. In the lesson, he gave me chance to practice both reading and speaking, so in one lesson I could learn a lot. |

In this double lesson I asked Dilhara to review my English resume. He gave me some inputs. During our conversation about my certificates, I realized I hadn't accomplished much in terms of awards or certificates. If I had those to include my resume, it would look much better! Maybe I should participate some contests in near future. Thank you for your input, Dilhara. |

We read an article about a Chinese company reversing its ban on LGBT-related posting. Dilhara listened my English very carefully and gave me some suggestions to improve my English. I really appreciate that. After the lesson, I did some research on referendum and LGBT community in Japan. I found that any changes to the constitution requires majority approval from public in referendum. And for LGBT issue, 7 cities and city wards in Japan have legalized same-sex partnership, which provides some of the benefits of marriage, though same-sex marriage is still illegal. It was a good opportunity for myself to learn Japan's society. Thank you Dilhara! See you next time. |

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'Parents anger at $730 Armani school uniforms'. There were several new words. When I gave my opinion on this article, I made small mistakes that I understood what was wrong if I think carefully, but I made mistakes while talking. So I felt I need more practice in speaking. |

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'New store lets you shop, walk out and pay later'. It was interesting article and as Dihara and I discussed about it I could find both posive and negative aspects of the store like the ones in the article. Not just reading it but by talking about it, it was good practice to express my thoughts in English and it's quite difficult. |
