Samanthe and me worked on online material about Cannes Film Festival, VOA Learning English. I chose this article it seemed like interesting, but it was more difficult than I expected. I had Samantha make clear many words I had not been sure. And we talked about some beer festival from April to May in Japan. Samantha, I had a great time talking with you. See you next lesson!

Today we talked about Mother's Day in our countries and continued to go through several expressions on education. I learned some phrases, such as 'pass with flying colors','to learn something off by heart' and 'to hit the books'. I will learn all of them off by heart! Thank you.
