Thank you for the good lesson! Today we talked about transportation. Your experience of severe turbulence during the flight was interesting. I also asked some questions related to my work. My doubts were lifted. Have a good week! |

Today, we began talking about the typhoon which hit Japan this week, and, then we continued talking about climate of our both countries and of many countries where we visited. I was surprised to hear that lightning causes natural forest fire in Canada often, because it's very dry. It was pleasant lesson. Thank you Samantha! |

Today I learned about some vocabulary related to personality, such as "impulsive","indecisive","sensible","sensitive","down to earth","a loose cannon","couch potato","pain in the neck",and "full of hot air." I will practice using these words practically in sentences. Thank you:) |

This was our first lesson. We introduced ourselves, and talked about best place we visited or want to visit, best food to recommend. And we talked about our life style. I learned interesting words 'early birds' and 'night owl'. It was really a pleasant talk. See you next! |

Today I learned some idioms related to security including "in good[safe] hands","play with fire" and "hang on for dear life." It is not so difficult to understand their meanings but using these expressions in my original sentences is a bit hard. I will keep doing my best! Thank you:) |

It was nice speaking with you again! I told her about my weekend and we talked about coriander (I ate it for the first time and my mom said it smelled like a shield bug). We also went over some phrases related to fears and I learned a new phrase "scared stiff." Thank you:) |

Thank you for giving me the nice lesson! I told her about the earthquake we had on Saturday night and she told me about Canada Day(July 1st). Today's topic was fears and I learned some idioms including "freaked out","to jump out of your skin","get the butterflies in formation", and "bundle of nerves". The practice of using these idioms is truely worthwhile and I appreciate her typed corrections. |
