In this lesson, we continued reading the article from the last time entitled 'How I found out my husband had married another woman'. There were several unknown words but sometimes I could guess the definition by sentences. Mark helped me understand the article correctly and described each of the vocabulary I was not familiar with. |

Today's article was about a new drug which suppress our appitite whose aim is losing our weight. Diabetes and heart deseases are till serious health problems and the new drug might sell well. However, such easy solution might make us lazier. It was fun talking and I was surprised to know that about half of UK people are thought to be overweight or obese. Thank you for interesting information, Mark. See you at next lesson. |

Today, we talked about the article "No alcohol safe to drink", whose main point is that drinking a small amount of alcohol might be good to protect against heart diseases, but might be possible to cause other diseases. We sometime are annoyed with such mixed message. |

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'The FBI said I was my parents stolen baby - but I found the truth'. I learned new words such as ' trawl', ' doo-wop singer' and 'vanish'. By reading articles, it's interesting to know names of specialist's occupation such as 'investigative journalist' and 'genealogist'. |

Today we talked about the article featuring 26-year-old female graduate student who invented a great green idea that changes huge quantity of flower waste from each temple after ceremony into useful products such as essential oil and organic manure. It would also contributive to avoiding river pollution because most flower waste has been discarded in the river. She is now trying to develop the system for actual use. Furbulous! Mark explaind all of my questions for me to understand easily. Thank you Mark as always. See you next lesson! |

At the beginning of this lesson, I shared about my 'OBON' holiday last week. Then we started reading a new article entitled 'How I found out my husband had married another woman'. The sentences were not difficult but there were several new expressions for me, such as 'to go out work', 'to bump into',and 'to play (something) card'. |

In this lesson we finished reading an article entitled 'The FBI said I was my parents stolen baby - but I found the truth'. It was an interesting story. There were several new words and Mark described them for me with clear examples. I could remember the definitions better with the way Mark explained for me than find them on dictionary. |
