And also Trump's new policy on immigration has already caused great confusion. We will discuss about Trump's policies which must be issued one after another in the next lesson. |

Thank you so much for listening to me.You told me what you understood in other words. That was very helpful for me to learn suitable expressions. It's sometimes difficult for me to catch up with your natural speed. But I felt it's very useful to accustom to listening. I'll try to be a better listener next time. |

She is quite a good teacher. Basically we had a free conversation because this was the very first time I had her class. For the latter half of the class she got me an interesting material and I picked up a topic about "old age". I really enjoyed discussing it with her. Thank you very much. |

We started with my weekend story: my second experience of a Turkish restaurant. I enjoyed Turkish dishes thanks to my friend's kind advice, although at the first time, my stomach got worse due to a lot of chili source. Then, I asked her to explain more about her practice method to speak English that I heard at our last lesson. I thought using a mirror and a recorder is good ideas. After that, we continued to discuss micro-plastics problems. We talked about our intake of seafoods, countermeasures towards this problems and possibility to harm our health due to not only plastics itself but also chemical substances attached on the plastic particles. Thank you, Frou. I'll try to copy drama lines with a mirror and a recorder. See you. |

初レッスン。丁寧かつプロフェッショナルな感じで、私の英語を改善する方法を熱心に提案していただきました。私がSFファンだと知ると、何か一緒に読んで見ないかと。それなら短編の方が良かろうとジェイムズ・ティプトリー Jr. の「ヒューストン、ヒューストン、聞こえるか?」の名前を日本語で挙げたところ、英語のタイトルを調べてくれるとのこと。日英どちらでも話せるというのは、なかなかありがたいものです。 Joshua, the title of the short story we talked about is "Houston, Houston, Do You Read?" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Houston,_Houston,_Do_You_ Read%3F It is one of the most recognized stories she wrote. Enjoy! |

The idioms I learned were unfamiliar but very interesting! It's amazing to me that those are used regularly for native speakers. Thank you, Max and see you soon! |
