Thanks to Inger sensei, I had an enjoyable trial lesson. I was glad that she read my profile prior to my lesson and guided our conversation based on that. She was speaking clearly and slowly, explaining about words that I didn't know in a way that is easy for me to understand.

We caught up with each other by me talking about the stomackache i have had for a couple of days and how grained burdock worked for it and by Terry talking about how he did not trust hospitals. We also talked about how we felt about extreme activists judging people and how we expressed or hided our feeling in our daily lives. We agreed that maybe we need some extraterrestrials to shift our attention outside the earth so that we can stop attacking each other and work together dealing with the new enemy. I enjoyed today's conversation with you, Terry. I am looking forward to talking to you next time!

Today, we discussed about the news of Kazuo Ishiguro get the novel prize. Honestly I didn’t know him but teacher Frouliane have watched the movie based on his novel. My wife also have watched it, I have heard from her about his view of the world. So I could somehow follow the discussion when the subject was about his works. Discussing about various news is my lesson style in these days. Hearing the subjects I thought various things, but I can’t express all of them. So I have to pick up the essence and express it. I think it is good for English conversation. It is useless to translate whole of sentence of Japanese. Many Japanese regards the way of simple speaking as the proof of impoliteness. So we used to rhetoric of communication such as humble expression which is not exists in English. I recommend to get used to simple expression unless you think in English in your mind.
