This was our second lesson and we talked about "automated cemetary" newly introduced in Japan. It seems like there are more and more people who find this kind of thing convenient. Also Nick told me about some surprising way of keeping the dead. We had such a fun lesson even though we talked about funerals. Thank you very much,Nick! Hope to see you again soon^^

Thank you for your lesson today. Though the topic was related to my field, I could not explain what I thought very well. I think I need to develop my grammar skills more.

Vlada, according to Wikipedia, the day of Singularity might come in 2040: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity. It is only 23 years from now. We both need to think (well, I might need not) how we can make ends meet at that time, while people can communicate freely in their own languages, with a little help from IT technology. If we are really lucky (or unlucky), the world might be like that in Matrix, and we just keep slumbering and do not need to worry about anything. Brave new world!

Thank you for your explanation that I can understand easily.

Today's topic is about the world's tallest and shortest people. We talked about the reason why the Dutch men are so tall. We agree that growth depends on genetic factors and diet. But both of us don't believe that the reason of growth is that the Dutch people eat more potatoes and breads and do a lot of sports. I enjoyed talking with you about an interesting topic.
