I couldn’t believe that we didn’t talk for a year. It was nice talking to you again. I was a little surprised to find out that plants can be “happy” in English. In Japanese we don’t usually use the equivalent word for them. I liked that idea and now I feel a sense of closeness to my bonsai. Thank you for the fun lesson. |

I read a new article about a Novel prize winner in today's lesson. There were some words I was not familiar with and Max explained those words with excellent examples. "Roll over Bob Dylan" is a strange but very interesting expression. Max, it's so kind of you to give me feedbacks with descriptions about the vocabraries I learned. They help me better understand the vocabraries and your example sentences make me laugh! I am always looking forward to reading them. I really appreciate that. See you in the next lesson! |

Thank you very much for your excellent lesson. As you spoke slowly and clearly to me, I could understood what you said well. Your explanations were easy to understand, and you led the lesson smoothly as usual. I enjoyed your lesson very much. Have a nice weekend. |

Today I asked Kathryn-sensei to help me with one English question. Her explanation was clear enough for me to understand what I had not understood. Then she explained to me some expressions used only in England. It was very interesting to talk about such expressions. |

Thank you for the fun class, Karen! The topic was about a Japanese husband who cooks for his wife and never is appreciated by her. It is interesting that we always agree with each other's opinion. Sometimes those advisers' opinions are unbelievable! |
