Over few decades ago, my home town had a heavy typhoon. It was so big, almost every lamppost broked, and lifeline were seriously damaged. It was my new employee days, I drove the mobile elevating work platform truck and helped repairing the lifelines. Many houses were seriously destroyed, people waits for the relief parties. Their lifelines, electricity, water, and telephone, everything essential for their life were completely stopped for few days. I asked one victim how did they do when night comes, they replied using the big candle, which they used in their marriage ceremony. In the center of their living room, about half of big wedding candle was on the table. After restored their lifeline, they delighted and give us their products. At dusk, as the operators return, the recovery office filled many egg plants, tomatoes, lettuce, and many vegetables. Most of the families who was helped their recovery by rescue party, gave it as token their gratitude. |

Thank you for the lesson. Since you look alittle tired today and no smile on your face, and this is the first time we met,my daughter thought you were in the bad mood. And each time you put your text book on the screen, it wiggles alot so that makes her sick.Maybe if you are thowing your textook to the screen,it would me more nice try not to move your camera. |

We chatted on the temperament of dogs. My dog is a Japanese spitz dog. The Japanese spitz dog looks similar to the Samoyed dog, but the temperament is very different. He is not calm at all. He barks very often. Now I'm about to take him out for a walk. I must be careful not to let him bark. See you next! |

Thanks for the great lesson as always. Ashly helped me with a TOEFL speaking question and her example helped me form my opinion. It can be hard to form your own opinion in another language in a limited amount of time, but she helped me go step by step and it was really helpful! |

This was our first lesson, so we began with our self-introduction. Then I consulted her about English test for checking my English skills and their improvement. She kindly explained features of some exams. It helps me very much. After that, I asked her to check and correct some English sentences about which I had questions. Since she is a Japanese-English translator, she can tell me whether the translation is correct or not. She can translate even colloquial Japanese phrase like "Sukkiri shita", which is difficult to translate into English even if I look at some dictionaries. Thank you, Fenny. See you. |
