いつもながらとても楽しいレッスンでした。日本の習慣等をよくご存知なので、でかかっている単語を
推察してズバリのものを教えてくれます。次回がまた楽しみです。

英語にしにくい日本語表現を考えてくれたり、考えやすいようにヒントをくれたりと英語のスキルがあがる
会話をさせていただいたきがします。

Thank you for the great lesson. As we've been facing the Presidential election in the US, we had a lot of time talking about it. Brian kindly answered my questions such as what the voting methods are like, and what the electoral college is. It was really an informative discussion. As Brian said, I also hope the world could change for the better. See you next time.

Thank you for the enjoyable lesson. It was our first time in three years, and like meeting my old friend. The heartwarming atmosphere he created made me relax. It was my second lesson. It was a meaningful time to talk about various things. Today, I couldn't say what I wanted to say well, and I felt the need to study more. Thank you very much. I will try to continue the program.

初心者なので、事前に「ゆっくり話してほしい」「初心者用テキスト100 Power Topics」を使いたい、他苦手な箇所などを連絡していたところ、本当にそれに合わせて授業をして下さいました。
発音・文法の直しも授業中と授業後の「講師からの評価」にて書いて下さったので復習もできました。
エイゴックスのサイトで「英会話初心者の方へ」という勉強方法を紹介していますが、その通りに事前準備をしていたので、先生への質問などもできて有意義な時間になりました。

とてもテンポよくレッスンを進めて下さいますが、
知らない単語等が出てくると丁寧に教えてくれます。
少し緊張もあってたくさん話せませんでしたが、ユーモアのある先生なんだろうなと感じました。
また今後の勉強法についてもアドバイス頂けて、とても有り難かったです！

We started our class by catching up on each other and small talk about the busyness at the end of the fiscal year, the start of a new school year, and the pilgrimage of the Shikoku area.
Then, I got my essay about shopping today proofread by him. I read it aloud, and we went over it paragraph by paragraph. As I had used an app to make sure I didn't make grammar mistakes before I showed him, the essay didn't have many errors. Still, it had several mistakes and unnatural expressions that Brian pointed out, so I realized again that you can't rely only on machines when it comes to learning a language.
Lastly, we exchanged our thoughts on shopping: the proportion of online shopping and in-store shopping, and what we prefer to buy online.

久しぶりのレッスンで緊張しましたが、共通の話題があったので少し不安感がなくなりました。ありがとうございました。

Today was our first session, and we began with a bit of self-introduction.
To be honest, I wasn't prepared enough today because I rushed to book the lesson due to the expiration date. Nevertheless, I think I could make the most of this lesson thanks to Brian. I highly appreciate his advice on how to improve my English skills.
