I din't know usage of "competitive" for people such as "He is competitive." Daisy always tells me wide-spread usage of many words deeply. Today, we talked about "love" making small speeches from various aspects.

Today's speech theme was generation gap between ours and my parents one.
I think the social background is totally different with each generation and values have also changed. In a sense, old days, our parents could live with a simple life style and the simple values made them judge everything more easily than these days.
I always enjoy discussing variou things with Daisy. I can learn a lot of thinkng and expressions from her.

I've had a really great time talking with you about such an important and controversial topic, the US Presidential election's result.

Daisy always tells me sensitive difference of words such as stimulate, encourage and spark. I always transulate my opinion into English by Japanese-style thinking or slightly wrong choice of words. She points out and correct them. Thank you, Daisy. I really appreciate your enthusiasm for improving my skills.

We talked about American society and American dream through analyzing the election. My English is not enough good to talk such a difficult topics, but it was another informative lesson! Thank you Daisy.

It was nice talking to you again. Thank you for explaning the origins of some of the idioms that I had been curious about for a long time. We also talked about the US presidential election and Japanese politics. Time went very fast as is always the case with your class. Today's topics were Karoshi problem and education. I think the tragedy of Dentsu should never be occured again, we should make an effort to change the implicit rules causing disasters to us in order to protect our individual life. I believe we can create solutions with our wisdom.
