 Today's lesson was our first one. We began with our self-introduction. We talked about her Kyoto life since we are living in Kyoto now. After that, we started to discuss food waste issues. I explained notorious Japanese business practice, so called "1/3 rule". We also talked about food bank activities.  Teacher Mika is charming and easy to talk with. Her half-Japanese heritage is understandable because of her name, Mika, and her complextion.
