We used one of the article from English Breaking News.com to practice rephrasing. I realized it's sometimes more difficult to rephrase short and simple sentences. I learned some good expressions Dilhara used in his sentences, such as being comparable to, being beneficial to, and bearing a closer resemblance. I will try to use these expressions by myself in the future.Thank you Dilhara! I am looking forward to our next lesson!

Dilhara chose an interesting article for our lesson regarding dual citizenship in Australia. He kindly asked me if I understand some important words and phrases including legal terms and gave me helpful explanations to fix my brain.
Also, I talked about my opinions and asked him some questions about the contents. He enthusiastically answered me what I want to know.

I had a good time as usual. I would like to improve my speaking skill to communicate with you more and more.

This lesson was free conversation. We talked about "my favorite shopping center". First, Dilhara told me about his favorite shopping center. Then he also shared me what he said in words, so I could check out words and expressions he used. After that, I told him about my favorite shopping center.
Because he showed me example first, it was easier to think what kinds of things I should tell when I talk about shopping center.
It was enjoyable lesson to talk about favorite things. Thank you and see you soon!

What a wonderful lesson ! He asked me one question after another in a quick tempo about the article. That helped me to develop the vocabulary range, reading skill, background knowledge, and get me full comprehension. As there was much substance in one lesson, that was worth two. Thank you!

I read each paragraph aloud and he gave me several expressions that were able to rephrase with those in the article. Both the article and exercise were enjoyable. I did rephrasing excercise with Dilhara using one of the English Brealing News.com article. I learned many useful words and expressions including getting you, agonisingly, interruptions in the service, distress, amount to, and being found everyhwere. This time, Dilhara prepared a little different kind of lesson for me. He gave me several expressions first and I found and replaced words in each sentence with those expressions. I could learn different ways to say the same thing using different expressions. It was fun. I will try to use what I learned newly through the lesson.

This time Dilhara-sensei was kind enough to help me with some English questions. 25 minutes was not enough to talk about all the questions. Anyway, I enjoyed talking with him as usual.

We read second paragraph of an article that we started reading last time. I read it aloud and then rephrased each sentence in different way of expression. It's difficult for me but Dilhara showed me examples and also gave me time to think, so I could try. I want to practice more.
