In this lesson we read an article entitled 'New store lets you shop, walk out and pay later'. It was interesting article and as Dihara and I discussed about it I could find both posive and negative aspects of the store like the ones in the article. Not just reading it but by talking about it, it was good practice to express my thoughts in English and it's quite difficult.

Next my speech is about "laugh or smile", so I asked Dilhara to show me the kind of comedy. He explainen the difference between some comedy forms and introduced me the famous interesting comedy show in Australia. It is exciting!

In this lesson, we read an article entitled 'Adidas to make shoes from ocean garbage'. I'm interested in environmental issues so I enjoyed reading it. Also not just recycling garbage but Adidas use it to make fashionable items, so I liked the idea. I read the article aloud and checked out some new vocabulary. Then Dilhara asked me some questions using the article. Even if I make mistakes, he corrects them clearly and kindly, so I shouldn't be afraid to make mistake.

At the beginning of the lesson, I told Dilhara about my favorite food. Then we read an article entitled 'Online deliveries clogging up city streets'. I'm interested to know about social issues so I enjoyed the article. He picked up some words and we checked the meaning of them. There were some words I didn't know, but some of them I could guess from the sentence in the article. Then he gave me some questions about the article. I like how Dilhara conducts lesson because he checks my understanding so it helps me a lot to learn effectively.

I told him about my tough day in the beginning of the lesson. Then we read an article entitled'Overtime becomes part of holiday pay'. I read it aloud first and then Dilhara explained meaning of words and phrases which I was not familiar with. Then we discussed about some points of the article. It was an interesting article because to work is very important in our lives. Also work overtime is big issue in Japan as well.
