Thank you as always. I’m looking forward to the next lesson.

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'Women hold most government positions in Spain'. The theme was interesting to read. I read it aloud first and we checked out words I was not familiar with. Then Dilhara asked me some questions about the article and we had a discussion. Through the discussing, I uncontiously made some basic grammatical mistakes. He pointed out my mistakes so I can notice my weak points and I can be careful next time. The way he teaches me helps me a lot.

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'Japan finds enough rare-earth metals to last 700 years'. It was interesting theme. It's sometimes difficult to put in correct words to tell what I want to say. But Dilhara waited for me patiently when I tried to tell him my opinion, so it was easy to challenge. But at the same time I felt I need to improve conversational skill to communicate more smoothly.

The lesson was based on an article entitled 'Pope warns fossil fuels threaten humanity'. I read it aloud first and we discussed about the topic after checking some words. It was interesting to know difference and similarity of Australia and Japan. Often there are common things between these contries. Also often to explain about my own country is difficult and I realize that I don't really know all about Japan. Thank you for the lesson and I'm lookingforward to the next lesson.

We read an article entitled 'Number of Japanese children at record low'. I read it aloud and then we checked over some vocabulary. Then we discussed about the content. It was interesting theme and I had thoughts about it but it was a bit difficult to tell what I want to say. Dilhara listened to me patiently and helped me by teaching me some new words and expressions.
