講師詳細

大変まじめで自分の授業スタイルはこうだ、というものを感じました。ゆっくり、はっきりした口調で話していただければ、理解できたと思うのですが、私の場合、事前にお伝えしていた事情により、聞き取りにくい点は、チャットボックスにとお願いしていたのですが、講師としてはあくまでもヒヤリングで理解してほしいと思ったのでしょうか、チャットボックスの活用は無かったです。私には少しハードルが高い講師かなと思いましたが、時々見せてくれた笑顔に気持ちがほぐれて行きました。スピーキングではより良い言い方をタイプしてくれて、良い勉強になりました。
とにかく英語の勉強がしたい、という人にはお勧めの講師だと思いました。

久しぶりにこの講師の授業をうけましたが、相変わらず笑顔がないですね。
授業の進め方は良いと思いますが、硬すぎて雰囲気的に楽しめる感じではないです。
多分の彼の性格からきているのだと思います。もう少し柔軟性を持てばもっと楽しいクラスになるのに・・・

手直しをレッスン直後に送ってくれたのでとても役立ちました。

少し音声が小さかったのが気になりましたが、レッスンじたいに特に支障はなかったです。すごい速さでスカイプにディクテーションをしてくれて、最後にレビューをしてくれたのは良かったと思いました。

It was our first lesson. I had requested him beforehand that I wanted to practice answering questions he'd give me, and he picked up questions related to my city. First he told me about his city and I tried to answer his questions following his talk. But I couldn't answer them properly because I didn't know much about my city! I was so embarrassed! I think Dilhara is a calm and conscientious teacher.

初めてのレッスンでフリートーク中心のレッスンでした。非常に落ち着いた印象の先生で、英語も聞き取りやすかったです。日本語を専攻し、日英翻訳業に携わっているとのことで日本事情にも大変詳しく、日本人へのレッスンにとても適した方だと思いました。またよろしくお願いいたします。
