今日はOfeliaが、より私が英語を学べるように、フリー記事でのレッスンを勧めてくれました。

今日のレッスンの内容自体はそんなに難しい話はなかったのですが、コロナでのパンデミックになった後
企業で、在宅/出勤出勤をするという場面で「conbination」ではなく「Hybrid」という単語が使われており、
私が知っている使われ方以外の使われ方をしていて意外でした。
元のイメージが定着しているので、すぐに切り替えるのが難しいなと思いました。

私にとっては、本当に人と話すのが苦手なので、まして上手く話せない英語での会話なので、
いかに緊張せず、話題に困らず、自然体で話せるかが重要なので彼女のレッスンは本当にありがたいです。

毎回ですが、言いたいことが上手く言語化できないもどかしさがあるので
もっと単語やイディオムを増やさないとならないと思いました。

Ofeliaは気さくで聡明でとても空気感が好きです。

久しぶりにOfeliaのレッスンをとりました(私がしばらく英語から離れていたため)
彼女のレッスンはもうずっと受けていたので、人見知りの私でも友達と話す感覚で気楽に予約できます。
Ofeliaはいつも自然な感じで、その時の話の流れに沿った話題をみつけてくれ、振ってくれるので
話題に困らず色々な会話ができます。それこそ本当に友達とビデオチャットをしている感じで英語を話せます。

今日は同僚の困ったこと、猫の話、年末年始の過ごし方などを話しました。
主にOfeliaも私も猫を飼っているので、その話がメインとなりました(笑)

いつも彼女のレッスンを受講しているが、昨日も久しぶりでなかなか単語が出てこなかったが、うまく話せるように誘導してくださってると思います。話しやすい雰囲気を作ってくださるし、語彙も豊富でおられるのでとても勉強になります。

オフェリア先生とは1年半ぶりの再会です。
とてもうれしいです。
彼女とはよく春や秋の京都の散歩に付き合ってもらったものでした。
英語勉強そっちのけで昔の話でフリーチャットでした。
相変わらずきれいな発音で、会話のリードもスムーズでした。
季節は過ぎましたがまた、春の京都の散歩にお付き合い出来たらうれしいです。
彼女とはとても会話が弾みポイントが適切です。
フリートークにはぴったりです。

Double lesson

We talked about my jobs and how to increase customers. We talked about the assessination of President Abe and demorats tied with an unification church. It is getting a serious political issue in Japan. We discussed about his state funeral. Some people oppose to his state funeral because huge amount of national budget was required for the funeral. On the other hand, some people think President Abe deserve it since he contibuted to Japanese nation all of his life.

Thank you again. As I thought I needed to explain Japanese tradition for our deceased ancestors, I booked your class again. I checked it online and managed to tell it. After that we read today's article about Japan's maglev train.

Thank you for the lesson. As you said, we were so excited about our conversation that we didn't have time to read today's article. We exchanged each country's culture about treating our deceased ancestors. It was difficult to explain Japanese tradition such as mortuary tablet and posthumous name. Anyway, I totally enjoyed talking with you.

We mainly talked about the seventh surge of coronavirus. Young people tend not to be vaccinated and tend to be infected with coronavirus. They do not take it seriously and consider it same as flu because there are only a few deaths in Japan.
