This was my first lesson with Aileen. First I introduced my self and then we read an article about Bhutan. We both were amazed the country's elusive policies setting a pedestrian day to be curbon neutral and teaching children meditation and agriculture at schools. At the same time, we were both shocked about the fact that the country is struggling with challenges like rising crime rate and a growing gang culture. It is understandable considering its low standard of living, which can be a possible factor of growing crimes. It was fun reading the article and had a good conversation about it with Aileen. It was nice meeting you Aileen, I am looking forward to seeing you again soon!

It was our first meeting. She had beautiful smile on her face so it made me feel relaxed. We enjoyed chatting about my trips, so unfortunately we didn't have time to practice listening using an internet material I had requested. It was a bit difficult for me to understand her English because of her accent which I'm not familiar with. But it was a good practice, of course. Thanks for your enjoyable lesson, Aileen!
