Today was the first lesson of the year and I'm glad I got to talk with you.
We talked about how we spent the last year to each other.
I always think that talking with you makes me want to travel abroad.
I look forward to having a good relationship with you this year too.

We talked about Christmas.
Among the Christmas-related stories, I learned about "Strange Things" on Netflix and Charcuterie and many other stories that are unfamiliar to me in Japan.
They were really fun.
I'd like to learn more various things.

She chose topics and the way to express what she thought very carefully and thoughtfully, so I was releaved as always. She was understanding for my situation, and I'm thankful to her. I was glad to see her and I'm looking forward to seeing her again.

This memory reminded me vaguely of a Japanese man named Onoda.
It's really educational for me to be able to talk like this.
It’s fun to see how a normal conversation can develop into something so interesting.

The one things that particularly impressed me in our conversation was "Bare Minimum".
At first I thought it was "Bear Minimum" and I didn't know what this meant. But you explained it clearly using various words, so I understood.
