Sorry for my very late review. Although it was a while ago, I remembered the lesson very well. The topic Mark chose was very interesting as usual and Iearned a lot.

Continued from the previous lesson, today Mark checked the latter part of my speech script and corrected it into better one. His advice made sense to sophisticate the script and I could realize some words and phrases I memorized wrongly and correct them. Thank you very much, Mark for helpful advice. See you next lesson.

This is the second lesson.

Today's article was "Mapping the global heatwave". I learned how many countries have experienced record hot tempreture by global warming, at the same time, a few spots have become cooler than before unexpectedly. Although we need to make much effort to sotp emitting CO2, some economical power doesn't admitt that global warming has caused the climate change because they don't want to restrict economic activities.
That's a big problem, I think.
Mark always choose me variety of articles I'm interested in and I have fun with discussion with hime. See you next time, Mark.

We talked about the article of balloon-powered Internet business by Google-related company in Kenya. There are many unfamiliar words and phrases such as "fleet","in one's right","be catered for""transformational",,etc and Mark explained them by easily understandable words and examples. It's really a excitign news and the new Internet business will bring much benefits in Kenya, at the same time, it has a double-edge sword. Thank you, Mark for exciting discussion as always. Today, we talked about the article featuring spreading measles in Europe. Especially, in Romania, Italy and Ukraine, the number of sufferers has been increasing seriouly. One of the reasons for the spreading is the number of people who take the vaccinations is declining because some people have been still beliving the MMR(measles, mumps and rubella) vaccine might cause autism to children even though the theory has been already discredited and it is just an anectal evidence. Anyway, our mindset never changes easily, I think.
