How hard to get rid of things even though I don't need any more. Now I'm trying to sell things using buy and sell app "mercari". I feel happy to know there are someone who really need them.
Because trowing away as trash makes me feel guilty.
Mark told me how he got minimized his possessions when he moved to Czech.
I agree with him money don't always make people being happy.

It was so interesting talking with Mark-sensei about the problem of nuclear power plants and other topics. It was a little hard for me to express myself in English about this kind of topic. But it was surely a good practice for me.

In today's lesson, I asked the reason why Mark is interested in the Russian monarchy. Thank you for the pleasant lesson!

I had my speech reviewed today and yesterday. I really appreciate his help, as usual. He tries hard to make my speech better. When he explains about my gramatical mistakes, he uses gestures or facial exprewsions which make me understand them easier. Thank you very much, Mark. I'd like to have an "ordinary" lesson next time. I feel sad because whenever I meet you I ask for your advice on my speech... See you:)

Today we continued reading an article entitled 'Ikumen - How hunky dads are changing Japanese parenting'. Mark explained me definition of each word I was not sure. It's easier to remember words when he explained than looking up dictionary because he gave me examples.

We talked about the article 'Jailed for stealing grapes: The motives of Japan's elderly inmates'. It tell us one aspect of the current Japanese aging society. Mark kindly instructed me my unfamiliar words and expressions with understandable examples. And I tried my best to express my opinions. That's controvertial and thoughtful reality. We talked about "Hip jpint replacement operation" I was told by my plastic surgeon. Mark said he reminded me of my hip joint problem when he watched the BBC news about "Hip joint replacement.
But the most curious topic was the difference between cheat and affair talked related to the operation.
Mark is a very good teacher. I would like to ask him that difference next ckass.

Mark taught me "ignorance is bliss"
I told him how scary to have an examination on my hip pain.
I'm scared if something bad is found what wouid I do?
There are things people don't need to know. They might live happily without knowing the fact.
"ignorance is bliss" is the best way to discribe for that.
He is always trying to understand patiently about my story,then tell me the right word.

We talked about the Russian history. He showed me the differences of the both monarchy. I understood well. And I talked about the Russian colonialism, compared to the British one. It was a nice lesson again. Thank you very much Mark!

Today's article is about an Indian young man who sued his parents because they had procreated him without his consent. It seems a strange case, but his real thought includes many ideas. I felt there are many kinds of feelings and thouts around the world. By reading diverse articles, I can learn diverse words.
