One of the topics today was "a picky eater." John seems to be able to eat almost all Japanese foods. I tried to explain to him how much my Japanese husband cannot eat some typical Japanese foods such as natto or takuwan, but I couldn't do very well. So I would make the list and explain it to him next time ‥‥ in English!

We talked about the entrance ceremony, cherry blossom viewing and welcome party. April is a good month to start new things. I'll try some new things.

"Hay fever" was one of today's topics. Then, I asked him how he feels Japanese masks. When asked something, he mostly answers logically and humorously. Talking with him is always fun and useful. Thank you so much.

We talked about the farewell party, and I told John what I gave to the teachers who are going to new school. When I can not understand John's English, he says it in easier English. Thank you, John.

It has been a very long time I didn't speak with John because his lessons were always all booked.
I had a lot of fun talking with him on some recent events. Finally we focused on an article which discussed the environmental pollution problems in China. I prefer paying a visit to china than to working there unless it's pollution problems get improved.

Thanks to John, I sometimes feel my English a little improved. I would like to keep learning English.
