Today, we talked with Michelle about "dream". It was a lot of fun, because the topic was interesting for us. During our lesson, she told me some common or colloquial expressions about "dream". That'll be helpful for me.

説明が非常にわかりやすいです。大切なところはゆっくり話してくれますし、例文もしっかり出してくれます。言葉の持つ意味も、教えてもらえるので、頭に入りやすいです。最初は、すごくまじめな方なのかな?と思いましたが、実際は、明るくて、面白い方でした。日本人の事を理解されてるようなので、的を得た答えをくれます。この部分を伸ばすには、こういう勉強法がいいわよ、というアドバイスは、すごく参考になりました。

I had a great time talking with Paul tonight.
We just had a spontaneous free talk on various topics ranging from travel to where we live.
He listened to my speech closely without cutting me off when I was speaking which I found quite encouraging.
More than anything, he is fun to talk with!
I had a whale of a time talking with him :)

とても親しみやすくて、陽気なところがすごく良い感じの先生でした。
体を使った教え方は7歳の娘にとって遊んでいるのと同じなので、あっと言う間だったようです!

レッスン中はもちろん全て英語!
しかし、終了後に完璧な日本語でサポートしてくれます!ので話せない私のような親にとってはとても安心です。

また是非お願いしたいと思います。

For starters, we had a small talk. Then he told me an idiom "chill out". That'll be helpful for me because I'm not familiar with slangs or verbal phrases.
After that, we continued the same story. It was a great time.

Today we continued to read V. Woof's story. Recently, I feel a little comfortable in reading it aloud. It depends on what I feel on the day, though. The story has a lot of "w" and "r" sounds, so I think it is a good practice for me. A great lesson today, too. Barry told me a link about a comedy and maybe I'm going to see it later.
