We discussed Fireworks, today. Fireworks are beautiful, but the sound of it gives damage for pets like dogs and cats. Needless to say, reading the article is very interesting. I'm looking forward to having a next lesson!!

I asked her at first to correct my comments to our last lesson. She pointed out my repeated use of "continue" and taught me other expressions like "pick up where we left off", "resume with our discussion", etc. She also recommended "unfamiliar" instead of "unknown". After that, we resumed our lesson with "Sherlock". We talked about "become one's obsession", "Remind me ...", "Look who it is!", "paint over". Meaning, usage and sometimes interpretation of their lines. She explained very well as usual. Thank you, Irick. See you tomorrow!
