I really enjoyed today's lesson! I think we had a nice and interesting conversation about history and about difference of pronunciation between English and Japanese. Thanks a lot! |

Thank you so much, Kathryn. I appreciate your being so patient and typing the phrases I tried to use. I also learned interesting phrases: back breaking work, and leave fields fallow for one year. I'm going to keep trying to use new phrases. I want to really enjoy talking in proper English! |

It was a very good lesson! Very useful for improving writing as well as speaking. In my real life, I rather write more than speak. I'll find another material from my real life soon! Thank you! |

I enjoyed your lesson. We finished Anne of Green Gables. I talked about my goal of my life. We then talked about some not kind people. Thank you for cheering me up everyday. You are always positive. See you soon! |

Kathyline sent me an article about cheese. However, our talking was deviated from the original topic. It was very challenging for me to keep up the developing of her story. However,it was very interesting.Thank you. |

I asked for Paul's advice about my daughter's English lessons because he's been teaching English in Japan for many years and is an expert. He gave me tips which are very helpful. I kind of enjoyed hearing his honest opinions about English education in Japan ( I couldn't agree more! ) Thank you very much. Yes, I often need extra concentration when I talk to someone with a North American accent and it affects my speaking as well. I'm beginning to realise that many tutors don't read students' profiles and messages before the first session. I specifically ask tutors not to star-rate me/my daughter but they keep doing it. |

I had a great time with teacher Fiona. I was impressed with her job as a teacher at a local school. I like her thoughts and plans for students. I learned not only English but also a lot of things that do the best one can for others. I'm looking forward to seeing her again! |

It was the first day for us to go to the nursery school and of course, it made us very tired. The interesting expression that I learn today is 'rags to riches'. Even though I can't have any idea who went from rags to riches in Japan since in my opinion, most Japanese belong to the middle-class, that kind of people are people's hope or dream. we can get good education or training with money, but without it, there is still people who succeeded and that tells us that great effort and strong will are important. Grate effort and strong will? Umm, taste good? I don't have either of them ,,, |
