 My son practiced making sentences using the phrase “(He) should try to (speak) (slower)”. As you said, he is good at understanding the contexts with the textbook, but it is still hard for him to think of original sentences with the grammar/vocabulary. So I really appreciate you always encourage him to spontaneously speak.

 This was our first lesson. We talked about programming, my son's interest, greetings in English and useful websites for improving listening comprehension of British English.
