Today's topic is about the rising sea level caused by global warming. The article refers to the case of West African countries. But this problem is also intimately related to any other countries. It seems to be difficult to prevent global warming.Nevertheless,we have to invent the new technology to boost renewable energy. |

Today teacher Froulaine corrects some negative expression in my writing to positive one. Japanese include me don't feel strange when we use negative expressions.I don't know why, but Japanese tend to regards humility as virtue. Does it affect to my writing? Anyway, I have to keep in mind that positive is better in anytime. |

This was a first lesson for us. So we started with our self-introductions. Since she is a university student majoring psychology and I'm interested in psychology, I asked about her interesting fields of psychology. After that, we talked about a metal disorder. We also talked about upbringing for food in Philippines. She said she was told by her mother that she would be punished by God if she wasted food. That is very similar way in Japan and we talked about what kind of God they imagined at that time.It was very interesting talk, Carmela. Thank you very much. See you soon! |
