As usual, I practised listening. After listening to Mark's reading every paragraph, I summarised the contents. I could retain key words and catch main points, but orgainzing main points into some sentences is difficult for me. I still need to practice more. Mark's instructions and comments are really interesting and motivate me to practice. Thank you, Mark and see you next time. |

Today I learned some vocabulary about the topic of ethics including "whistleblower","integrity","law-abiding","pay it forward" and "controversial." I practiced describing them and making some sentences in English. Thank you so much :) |

I talked about allergies with Karen. It looks like everybody has got some kind of allergy. Is that because our life styles became too clean and protective??? It was not a very fun topic to talk about but sure was really interesting. Thank you, karen. See you soon. |

In Tokyo, cherry blossom season has almost over. The park getting quiet again. My family went to the tranquil park in suburb area in Tokyo. It has been a long time since last time we go to this park. The park is very large, and have few guests even in weekend. When my children were little, we often go to this park. We caught the fish and locust, played succor and catch ball. As children growing up, coming this park has decreasing. Yesterday, we played catch ball, badminton, and card game in large field under sun shine. It was fantastic as if I get back to decades ago. |

Teacher Daphhe is very kind and easy to talk with. This time, because of her internet condition, I couldn't see her face, but I could understand her thought and opinions through her clear English accent. |

This was our fist meeting, and I had a lot of fun talking with Tad. Tad is an amazing teacher: he is very casual and easy to talk to, and what I appreciated the most is his patience. And of course, he is truly bilingual and speaks with the beautiful Canadian accent. I hope to see him again soon. |

Thank you very much for Today's lesson. The pronunciation of R is a kind of the most common challenge for Japanese English-learners. Thank you for your clear explanation.I'm pretty much encouraged not to give up improvements. I'll keep trying the accurate pronunciation. |

After small talk about my today's event, we resumed our class with Lesson 12 of 100 PTs. She asked me to tell the best and the worst news in my life, who I told it at first and how they responded. We talked about my experiences. After that, we got on to the next exercise; description of a picture. I have been wondering how I should respond to this type of questions. So I asked her about it and understood the purpose of this type of lesson thanks to her explanation. Thank you, Deth. See you. |
