In my hometown, people hadn’t a custom to lock the entrance door of their house. People could go into their friend’s room regardless they are in home. I sometimes met my grandmother’s friend was sitting in grandmother’s room alone when she was absent. Children also could accessed their friend’s room at any time. Many people felt strange when the entrance door where they visited had been rocked. People in town never locked it even if they were absent. That custom had gone away when the emperor decided to come to my home town. The city worker regarded that custom as barbaric, then they prohibited it before emperor comes. Nowadays, people forget such custom, but they don’t hesitate go into entrance hall of friend’s house if the door unlocked. Moreover, people still regards outsider who use the doorbell and waits the entrance door had been opened by resident.

How comfortable it was to listen to Teacher Kyoko's British English!I was able to tell she is so intelligent. We talked a lot about various things like nature, her impression on London and Germany, where she lives now, and so forth. Time flies. This is exactly how I felt after her lesson. This was my first time to take Rechard's lesson. At first we introduced each other and he asked me some questions based on what I said. Since I had lived in Thailand, I was happy to share about the country. After introducing each other, we did an activity that to explain and laterly make a story of a picture. It was difficult to explain when I didn't know the exact name of things. It was a fun activity so I want to challenge again in another lesson.
