Thank you for double lessons! I like your lesson since it's good practice for speaking. Today Tad and I role played a job interview. It was hard but useful and I learned a lot. I enjoyed free talk too. |

Bevy is friendly and easy to talk. Though I haven't spoken English for so long, I feel I'm getting used to speaking it a little. |

We read an article about Airbnb. The interviewer uses many casual English to talk about her business. Max explained those vocabraries using very practical examples so I understood them very well! Thank you Max. This is a good article so let's continue reading this for our next lesson. |

We couldn`t help but sidetrack many times in the lesson, but these chats are the good part of the lesson because it comes naturally and spontaneously. Today I could incorporate words and phrases in the sentences as "tighten one`s belt", crack(solve),"Backlog","daunting","oversight","intricate","abject","moron","ravege","devastate","estimate","handling of","currency","ordinance","perk","gist","allure","notorious","incident","cope with","dawdling","accrue","counterfeit","bogus","phoney" and so on. Nina is a tip-top tutor. Nina, thank you for today`s lesson. You are the bomb. See you tomorrow and be prepared because I will bomb you a bunch of sentences. |

Christmas already passed. I was in a mall, sitting on a bench in the hallway with fuzzy thinking and observing the passersby, kids jumping around, shouting and screaming. I watched a kid lying on the floor having a terrible tantrum and his mother was in trouble, after a few seconds the mother lied down on the floor as well, before I knew it,the boy was erected on his feet.I felt astonished, right after this I observed a young couple, the girl got pouty because her boyfriend was looking other girl`s butt. It`s no wonder.I`ve been there.(Haha) Others couples bickering, squabble between sibling.I pondered for a moment,in the other hand, other side of Japan, there are children that can`t get a gread and butter, let alone a Christmas gift,or suffering because of the war.And we shroud our eyes and settle for this situation or think we are overloaded with our own issues and feign we are not seeing it.I hope it had a truce in the war`s place at least in the Christmas. |
