We talked about sleep based on the Eigox material. I chose the topic because I feel that getting good sleep is very important to live a good life and at the same time it is becoming harder in this busy world. Kate feels the same way and her situation seems even more difficult than mine. The topic was just fit for us and we had such a good time exchanging our opinions.I hope to book her lesson soon again. Thank you, Kate! |

She is a really good tutor, not only as a native English speaker but also she knows the appropriate pace of conversation with the non-native speaker like me. |

Hayao Miyazaki is one of the most famous animator in the world. He started his carrier as an animator when he graduated from the university. But it isn’t until he turned 35 that his work became widely recognized as an animator of “Heidi”. After that, he creates many animation works like “Laputa: The Flying Island” or “My Neighbor Totoro”. All it was suite the taste of kids. In 1992, one day he talked with Yoshiei Hotta and Ryotaro Shiba, both are Japanese famous novelist and Hayao respects both very much. During the talk, Ryotaro asked to Hayao to make an anime movie about monster. Yoshiei agreed to his opinion, but Hayao replied nothing at that moment. After 5 years, Hayao released “Princess Mononoke”. Moreover, 6 years later he released “Spirited Away”. This movie was brought him academy award of animation. Hayao has not mentioned the first opportunity of making them, but I believe that three-man-talk in 1992 was it. |

Sorry for the delay of my comment! Yesterday we had a great time together! Gemma is such a nice, friendly and approachable teacher that I really enjoyed talking with her. Time passed by so quickly! We did Lesson 28, and I learned a lot in this lesson about how to help foreign tourists at the station. I hope our Skype video camera will work next time so that we can talk through the camera! See you soon! |

Today we discussed the various expressions associated with 'rain'. Afterward, we developed a discussion over an article about Iraqi current situation. I'm always happy to discuss with John. He has enourmous knowledge about what's going on around the world. His philosophy lecture is always fun. Today's my favorite: I'm on board. |
