私の英語のレベルを低く見積もってされたレッスンのようで、満足できませんでした。分かっていることを説明されます。だまって聞きますが、このギャップはどうしたらいいのでしょうか。Ray.G先生に限らず、あります。 |

Today'topic is "Who should be responsible for the care of the elderly - the government or the family?" It's a hot issue for the ageing sociey. I made a speech and Mark changed some expressions to natural ones. "nursing home""elderly care home""have busy lives""introduce a volunteer programme to provide support""have the influence""be left unsaid""organized lunch and event""transportation and social networking for the elderly",,,,Thank you very much for these useful and valuable expressions. Also, many other ideas and suggestions he offers me are greatly appreciated. See you next time, Mark. |

Income tax return is coming up. It is a bit hassle for me to file an income tax return form. But when the income tax return to you, I feel lucky or maybe I feel ripped off, that`s the best part of this. I can`t handle the wait. |

To commnece our lesson, we talked about the final baseball game. I told her that I was literally a couch potato, I ate potato chips and watched the game flopping down on the couch.(haha). Afterwards,we proceeded to today`s lesson materials. I could incorporated some phrases and words as "come in","hurtle down","bender","grater","plastic tupperware","atomizer bottle","cormorant","formidable","stethoscope","exquisite","flunck","give off","apparatus" and so on. In the middle of the lesson, we strayed from the topic and chatted about nervousness, we japanese are easy to become nervous. We have butterflies in our stomacks. (haha). Today I learned from Nina How to use the word "literally", I really appreciate it. As always, Nina rectified some words that I enunciated not clearly. I reaffirm that Nina is a heaven-sent tutor. She is adroit at commucating, She doesn`t have a degree in Communication for nothing. Nina thank you very much for today`s lesson. Have a nice week. |

I enjoyed her lesson. She inquired me many questions, especially about toastmasters activities. She looked very calm so I didin't get nervous at all. To be honest, I think her feedback is too simple. Thank you for the class, Rose. |

It was my first lesson with Maureen. We talked about differences between Japan and other countries, and since some of topics were something that I hadn't thought about before, it was a good practice for me. Thank you, Maureen. I look forward to seeing you again. |

My wife and I went to kyoto. A hilarious event happened to me in the bus. It was a day trip. This bus was imperative to show the bus ticket when you get on and hand in when you get off. If you lose the ticket you have to pay the whole price again, not just a fee. These tickets I bought in the Internet and I paid in the convinience store. As you already know, these tickets are printed. A couple of months ago, we went to a musical concert and we bought the tickets in the same convinience store, The envelope and the tickets were the same color and same size. And I left the envelope with the tickets in the pocket of my backpack. When we were getting off the bus, I picked the wrong envelope and took the tickets I handed in to the bus driver. The driver said gently,"Sir,these tickets are not the bus tickets". It was so embarrassing. I flustered went throug the backpoack`s pocket. I wanted to crawl under a rock. |
