It is always exciting to talk with Mark-sensei. In his lesson, I can improve four skills:speaking, listening, reading and writing, by using an article. I really like this learning style. |

We talked about the man who stabbed a Osaka police man, talked about traffic accidents caused by elderly people, whether elderly people should return drivers license or not and how their family should deal with that problem. I learned the phrase 'Purpose in life'. It is very important when we live. |

Today's article is really interesting about speking through telephone. What we talk and the way we talk by phone give away our characters, class, educational level,,,etc. As always, Mark explained me my unfamiliar words and expressions understandably. Thank you, Mark and I'm looking forward to discussing the article next time. |

Cut the macherel in pieces. Slice ginger thinly. In a pot, heat water, sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce and ginger at the medium heat. Add the fish, lower to medium low heat and cover and cook for 7 to 8 minutes, halfway through open the lid and turn the fish once, cover again and cook for a few more minutes, remove some of the sauce from the pot and thin miso paste with it. Stir and put the miso mixture back into the sauce in the pot. Cook uncovered for another 7 to 8 minutes untill the sauce has thickened a little bit, the sweet and salty flavor of the thick miso sauce goes very well with steamed rice. This is one of the most popular staple Japanese fish dishes. |

Thank you for your lesson and helpful comment. New expression for me: censorship board I would like to ask you if there is a kind of censorship for the textbooks used at schools in Australia or in Philippines. See you next week! |

Thank you very much for your helpful comment and advice. I understand there are a lot of accents in English and that English spoken in movies is different from that in our normal lives. I am relieved to hear that. Thank you again and I look forward to our next lesson. See you tomorrow! |
