Barry & I read an article about a mother who works full time. Mainly, I learned how to emphasize some words in reading. Barry was kind enough to explain why we should raise or fall an intonation. This training will be good for me. After that, I tried to express my opinion for a short time. Before I knew, this twenty-five lesson had been over. A good lesson, I think.

We read an article about a problem of collecting things. As usual, Mat read it first, and then I practiced reading it aloud. I usually read in silence and this will be helpful. In this lesson, he corrected my pronunciation. By doing this exercise, I found that I did not articulate some words.

Today I read a news article about the world's first declaration of human & relireous rights. I like history, so I really felt interested. The article was longer and I didn't have enough time to make a comment, but it cannot be helped. Mat always asks me if I have any questions about an article, so I'll try to say anything I feel.

We read an article about 5 expensive hobbies. The story is interesting in that the article describes how 5 hobbies cost. The English words are clear and the topic is easy to approach. Anna & I talked about our attitudes toward each hobbies. It was a lot of fun. She wrote down the key phrases or words which I couldn't say well. I'll review them later.

He gave me so many questions and topics, I could have a friendly conversation with him in my first lesson.
When he said the words I didn't know, and I didn't know what to say, he explain clearly, sometimes by using chat, so that I could easily understand.
It was nice meeting him.
