We delved into very British phrases from an article on Independent.co.uk. Leon explained phrase by phrase how people used them, their levels of formality, etc. Before we got into the main topic, ｗe started our lesson by catching up wee a bit about my move. It turned into complaints about noise issues we had faced at our places. Knowing the fact that no matter what race we are, where we live, and what language we speak, similar life events are happening, always makes me excited. I have had loads of this kind of excitement in the process of learning English. And I reckon I might have continued studying English to collect them. Leon's enthusiasm and patience have always been helping me do that. |
