 We at first talked about some phrases of a report that states the methodology of food waste research, which I could not understand fully and asked through skype message service before our lesson. After that, we talked about Frou's some experiences about her research job and also talked about Philippine circumstances of using English. I've got to understand why she can choose such interesting articles for our lessons by listening her experiences. It was also astonishing to me that major Philippine newspapers were written in English and no Filipino subtitles were shown for the American dramas. I've understood the reason when I heard that most of school classes are conducted in English in even elementary schools. Thank you, Frou.  We continued our lesson with "Sherlock". It is sometimes difficult to understand English unknown phrases by using English, but Irick kindly and patiently explained the meanings and the usages to me. British usage of "proper" was also new to me. Her explanation of British English is very useful since she watched and read many British dramas and novels. I feel she is an artist! Thank you, Irick.
