Teacher Claudine is very kind and interested in the world politics right now, so we had a fun conversion each other. She is very inquisitive about my opinions and she gave me lots of interesting questions to me. |

These words are really tricky for us except yo-yo, which has the same pronunciation in Japanese. |

I suppose he got confused since the nouns like `skates' or `skis' are usually singular in our language. |

Thank you for the lesson. This was our first lesson using the textbook. I thought that learning phonics is boring for my daughter, but my daughter enjoyed it very much thanks to you. |

He practiced the pronunciations for `sled' and `garage,' respectively. We use OALD. |

We read Lesson 50 & 51 for today's double lesson. The dialogs were about being late for work and taking sick leave. Max taught me the difference between tardy and late, and perk and benefit.Today's phrases were entitled to and caused to and I learned how to use them. Other important words we discussed today were get on, predicament, report for work, swing by, delinquent, refuge, etc. "I've been dragging" and "the hot weather is draining" seem quite useful. I will definitely use them in my daily conversation! Thank you Max! P.S. Did the dog meeting reach any agreement? They sounded very serious! |
