I like playing piano. After many times of practice, I remember the score and can play without remember it. After that, I can finally express my feelings with music. I think it is all the same in English conversation. I think until I can talk without remember the words or phrases, I can’t express my feelings. In these days, I sometimes talk without using my memories. For example they are teacher Flouliane’s pet phases and my favorite phases. In the first half of today's double lesson, we talked about movies. We both don't like sad movies but agreed that good movies have some kind of sad element. After that, we continued to read a CNN article. Terry explained some vocabraries and expressions such as boxing in, paying a price, haws & dove, and base & swing. I also learned about isolationism. I learned a lot today from Terry in terms of not only English language but also American politics, which is great! Thank you Terry! |
