Leslie gives me a lot of chance to speak English and he provided me with a very helpful recommendation regarding how to learn English. I really enjoyed talking about hobbies, jobs, traveling and foods. It was quite interesting to know Canadian and Japanese cultures each other.

Today we talked about comedy or jokes becauze I'm going to make a speech whose theme is what is laughing. He told me styles of comedy such as obvious comedy, physical comedy, slapstic comedy, subtle comedy, stand-up comedy,,,etc. The point of laughter depends on each person's background and there are many kinds of comedy style. I enjoyed talking about intereting sense of laughter.

Maria is an eighteen years old welder at a stell mill in the outskirts of town scraping by on a meager income. She aspires to become a professional dancer and works as an exotic dancer by night at a cabaret, holding down two jobs to survive.
