 Thanks for the wonderful lesson. I studied the exercises about an exchange of conversation at a restaurant. I did double role though. It was interesting. And you showed me your dog's picture. He put his hand (leg?) on your shoulder. He was cute! Thanks to you I feel like my English is improving little by little. See you next lesson.

 保育園男児のレッスンをしていただいています。
息子は以前から、学習済みの定型文なら受け答えはできるようでしたが、フリートークになると「なんて言えばいいか分からない。」「この英語の言い方は知らない。」と親に助けを求めるかやる気を無くすかでした。
でも、最近は知っている単語や身振り、実物などいろいろなものを総動員して何とか自分で自分の言いたいことを伝えようとするようになってきました。語彙や文法以前に、外国の人と話すのは楽しい！伝えたい！伝わった！という姿勢がみられるようになったことがとても嬉しいです。
これも、先生が息子のまとまらない話を根気よく聞いてくれて、とても楽しそうに反応してくれるからです。レッスンの予定にこだわらず、気まぐれの息子が話したくなったタイミングで嫌な顔をせず満足するまで話させてくれます。そして、最後には息子の言いたかったことを簡潔な正しい英文に直して教えてもくれます。しかも、話が脱線しすぎたり、ふざけてきたなと思ったりしたときは、すっと元の教材に戻してもくれます。子ども相手のさじ加減がとても上手です。
これからも明るい笑顔と元気な声でたくさん褒めてたくさん会話してもらいたいものです(*^_^*)

 Today, we talked about the article "These colleges don't have classes or professors."
Some universities in the US have started on-line educational courses which studunts don't have to attend classes and can study on the computers. Students can prove that they understand the skills and knowledges by taking exams. It's convenient to save time and more and more students have many chances to learn a lot.
But some expart claims that the negative side of this system is that even though university is the place to learn how to think critically and exchange their opinions with live communication.
I agree that communication skills is the most important ones to make our socity better.
