Despite the fact that we hadn't talked to each other for ages, it didn't affect a good rapport between you and me. We started off the conversation with sharing what we've been up to first and then, expanded it to broader topics. To my astonishment, the conversation went smoothly with the flow even though I was exhausted enough to get distracted from the topic and lost the plot. I'm so grateful for you trying to encourage me to take the initiatives in the conversation and keep working hard to enhance my language proficiency with your compliments for my oral performance!
