see you again. |

Hi Sarah, nice to see you again:) Thank you so much for your wonderful lesson as always. I was so so so happy to see you again. It was very long weeks. We first talked about the differences in culture between Japan and the western countries. I love traveling abroad because I can have experiences to know a lot of differences of the cultures of other countries. In order to do that successfully, I need to improve my English skills more and more. As you may know, Japanese people have been interacting with one another in an island nation for a long time. They can have "aun no kokyu" in public places as if they were family. "aun no kokyu" is being able to sense the needs or ideas of others from the situation, etc., even if not everything is explained. A unique aspect of Japanese society is that most things can be communicated through various gestures, the exchange of partial sentences and polite responses which do not give enough information, suich as those without explanations of the background. That's one of the reason why it is said that Japanese are shy, I think. In this way, it is very interesting and exciting to know culture differences and gaps among countries. You made my day. It was really fun to talk with you again. I can't wait to see you. I'm looking forward to the next lesson. Take care and see you soon! |
