We talked about various foods. Especially I was interested in the story of dried squid.
When we have a snack and drink alcohol,we eat it.
I had almost forgotten it, but there are many kinds of snacks using dried squid in Japan.

 I have to apologize to you for not being able to show up in the online class last Saturday due to my work commitment.  What a good time I had talking with her over things that I really relate to, especially recently! I've been struggling with maintaining who I am in my current situation where everyone has to be the same in a way due to its cultural aspects. But, as you said, there is no way for me to make a compromise on who I am since I know that it's not gonna last forever if I keep trying to leave myself behind for the sake of other people all the time. I just want to be acting like myself and embrace myself just the way I am. I do believe that no one can actually take that away from us. Thank you again for brining me into that realization in the lesson!
