We talked about the disaster. At present Typhoon is comping toward Philippines, so maybe Philippines are in a state of emergency. Today, Rose and I talked about learning languages. I told her that I had become more interested in the Japanese language since I came to the US. Rose said that experiencing different cultures would often make you more aware of your own culture. I totally agreed with what she said. We then talked about the importance of curiosity and stating one's opinions without fear of making mistakes. I wish I had joined the class like that when I was a kid. |
