We mainly discussed about the new wave of service robots which has emerged amid the pandemic to help maintain safety and social distancing. Robots started to be used to handle disinfection, transportation and other essential tasks to maintain safety and social distancing in factories. Some Japanese companies started to manufacture robots. One of them is at the reception at a hotel, greet customers and alert the staff in remote office who communicate with customers by RoBoHon using a smart phone or tablet terminal. There are pros and cons of using robots and discussed about them. |
